• In this position, you will provide clinical leadership and work in tandem with the Clinical Pharmacy Manager of a sister campus to manage all clinical pharmacy programs for the institution by developing clinical programs; serving as the department's representative on appropriate committees; performing clinical research; precepting pharmacy students; and actively participating in training/education of pharmacy, nursing, and medical staff.? With?two medical campuses, the medical center admits more patients, delivers more babies, and performs more heart surgeries than any other hospital in the Richmond Virginia medical community.??The health system hosts two ASHP accredited residency programs in pharmacy practice.
• The hospital is affiliated with an award winning network of six hospitals in the Richmond Virginia area.? All hospitals in the system are equipped with eICU, MedDirect, off-site central order entry, Robot cart fill, eMAR, and an enthusiastic, patient-centered staff. Utilizing advanced technologies, the pharmacy practice model is optimized for decentralized clinical pharmacy services.? For salary scale determinations, residency trained candidates will be credited with three years of professional experience for each year of residency training!
